Metaphorical Writing 5/19/2013

Another day and her majesty did not rise amongst us

to shine on us her vast array of gifts.  I hear from

her loyal subjects they feel drenched to the point of

drowning and mold is attempting to settle at their

sides not quite recovered from the burn of late snow.

I succumb to taking out the wrong clothes, knowing

they will probably outlive themselves by afternoon.


I'm interested in hearing people's ideas about metaphors and to post other people's metaphors as well as my own!
