Metaphorical Writing 6/14/2013

Corrugated Cardboard

JFK, Lewis and Huxley

all die on the same day

only one death goes by

with properly noticed eulogy.

All in contrast to the next–

living blonde haired fantasies,

fantasies in words on pages

flights of mushroom fantasies,

but still fantasy of which

some are more accepted,

all are quite popular

and all have their price mark

on the mortal soul where

it is hard to claim who really

is the prostitute who

prostitutes themselves

for what piece of consciousness.

Like the backing on

corrugated cardboard,

nothing is separate.
